Vaidya, Thapa urge Maoist combatants to defy regrouping


Mohan Vaidya faction of the UCPN (Maoist) has appealed the former Maoist combatants staying in cantonments not to comply with the regrouping process being conducted by the Army Special Integration Committee secretariat as part of the army integration and rehabilitation.

The press statement signed by Maoist vice chairman Vaidya and general secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ terms the agreement on Kartik 15 anti-peace, humiliating and surrender. Through the statement Thapa and Vaidya have urged all commanders and members of the former PLA to stay away from the surrendering process.
