Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has vowed to eradicate violence against women from the nation on the occassion of the UN International Day for Violence against Women.

Finally the Madhav Kumar Nepal led government supported by a good number of parties but not 22 as claimed by the big boys has been finally able to pass the budget for fiscal year 2009/2010. The budget that was supposed to be passed in July has been passed with little deliberations based only on formalities. MKN government has been facing hard times these days due to the PKD agitation while the ailing GPK continues to play big by plotting against anybody he likes and withdrawing the same at his descrition.

Even as thousands of buffaloes, goats, pigs, pegions, chicken and ducks are being slaughtered in a hamlet in Southern Nepal to satisfy the blood thirsty deity, almost a dozen persons have died in the carnival due to weird reasons.
