Unified CPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has ruled out the possibility of including Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal in the High Level Political Mechanism formed recently. Speaking to reporters at Dhangadi airport, Tuesday, Maoist chairman Prachanda said Nepal's inclusion in the HLPM is not necessary as the present government is the cause of present political deadlock. PM Nepal had expressed dissatisfaction over the HLPM for not including him.

Gautam Sapkota, also known as Charidai (bird bro) for his ability to mimic the sounds of 175 different birds, has threatened to bring Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to a halt by summoning birds on the runaway for not helping him to record his name in the Guiness Book of World Records. Sapkota has given a deadline of one month for the purpose. Sapkota had held a 'crow conference' at Narayanhiti Royal Palace on the day of Kag Tihar (crow festival).
