Chill, hooch claims dozen lives in Gadhimai Carnage Carnival

Even as thousands of buffaloes, goats, pigs, pegions, chicken and ducks are being slaughtered in a hamlet in Southern Nepal to satisfy the blood thirsty deity, almost a dozen persons have died in the carnival due to weird reasons.

Three infants froze to death Tuesday night as their parents were hell bent on offering sacrifice to Gadhimai for a wish fulfilled, possibly a child.

Meanwhile, the buffaloes and goats chopped off and left on the ground has started to pollute the environment there.
