Missing doctor's car found; no clue about the person

The car numbered Ba 3 Cha 989 being used by Bhakta Man Shrestha, executive director of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital,  Bharatpur, has been found at Kudahar of Pokhara, police said. However, there is no clue about the missing doctor yet.

Pokhara police recovered the car at abandoned state from an alley near Amar Singh Chok at about 6.30 pm, Wednesday. Dr Shrestha's ID card was found on the seat of the car. No other information about the missing doctor is known so far.


Dr Shrestha has been out of contact from 10 pm, yesterday. He went missing suddenly while he was returning home from work Tuesday night. His mobile is switched off. Police have suspected abduction.

All hospitals in Chitwan closed down all but emergency services Wednesday demanding with the government to strive to find Shrestha.

  1. In a way I believe this doctor deserved this fate. After assuming the office of ED he had didn't have his foot on the ground and wasn't like what a normal person would behave. He was rude to visitors, medical representatives and others. I am sure he will learn a lesson after this incident.
