Former Crown Prince Paras Shah going to Chitwan for hearing
Former Crown Prince Paras Shah is going to Chitwan Thursday for a hearing on a case filed against him at the District Administration Office (DAO), Chitwan.
He is charged of opening fire at Rubel Chaudhary, son-in-law of NepaliCongress (NC) leader Sujata Koirala, at Tiger Tops Resort a few months ago.
Shah was arrested soon after the incident from Pokhara and detained in Chitwan for two days. He was released on bail by the DAO.
Shah is going to Chitwan by road with his friends and supporters. Reports say, Shah's supporters had chanted slogans and displayed placards in favour of Paras Shah at various placed along the Prithvi Highway.
Supporters in Chitwan are preparing to organise a separate function to welcome him.
