Theoretically, there can be as many Base Camp Treks, as the number of mountains. However, Everest Nepal Base Camp Trek is the most popular one, Everest being the highest mountain in the world.

Everest Nepal Base Camp Trek is not just popular due the glamour potrayed by Mount Everest in the world, but also due to the unique Sherpa culture one goes through in this trekking route.

The second popular base camp trek in Nepal is to the base of Annapurna. While Everest basecamp trek takes longer and more effort, Annapurna basecamp can be easily reached in about 6 days from Pokhara.

People who have less time and yet wish get the fullest possible experience of trekking in Nepal, often choose the Annapuran Nepal base camp trek.

There are also other base camp treks in Nepal. People might want to trek to the base camps of Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri or other mountains. Trek to Dhaulagiri base camp is probably the third most popular Nepal Base Camp treks.
