Former AIG Keshab Baral named CIAA commissioner
The Constitutional Committee (CC) has recommended the name of former
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police Keshab Baral for the
position of commissioner at the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of
Authority (CIAA), Monday.
A meeting of the committee held Monday afternoon picked Baral for the
position of the anti-corruption watchdog.
CIAA has been without commissioners after two serving commissioners Lalit
Bahadur Limbu and Beda Prasad Siwakoti retired today after completing six
years of service.
