UY hints at no confidence motion against govt

Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Upendra Yadav said a no confidence motion could be tabled against the government soon.

Speaking at a face to face programme organised by the Reporters Club in Kathmandu, Saturday, one day after his return from an India visit, Yadav said, “We have got to know a no confidence motion is being tabled against the present government.”

Yadav further said, the sooner this government is toppled down the better for the country as the MKN led government is driving the country to a crisis.

However, contentious issues of national interest should be resolved before a new government is formed, Yadav said.

Responding to journalists’ question on whether his party would try to topple down the government, Yadav said, Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala was good at it.

As the senior most and cleverest leader of Nepal, he (Koirala) will do the needful. He will topple down the government as he is angry with the present PM for not making his daughter a deputy Prime Minister, Yadav said.
