A pregnant woman rescued by army

A Nepal Army helicopter has air-lifted a woman suffering from post-delivery complications and her child from a remote village in Gorkha, Tuesday morning.

Bhim Kumari Amgai, resident of Deurali VDC, who had fallen unconcious after excessive bleeding followign the delivery, has been admitted to Om Hospital after being brought to Kathmandu.
The army helicopter had left for Deurali VDC, Gorkha to rescue the woman with Rajendra Bajgain, a Gorkha denizen running a travel agency in Thamel, at the instructions of Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Chhatraman Singh Gurung.
