Maoists pelt stone at Nepal minister’s vehicle

Unified CPN (Maoist) cadres have pelted stone at the vehicle used by Agriculture and Cooperatives minister Mahendra Prasad Ray Yadav in Butwal, Saturday morning.


Maoist cadres who were showing black flags to minister Yadav wrapped a stone inside a flag and charged at the car used by Yadav, while he was traveling on Tinau bridge.

Minister Yadav was using District Development Committee (DDC), Rupandehi’s vehicle. A window pane of the vehicle has been smashed by the stone.

No one was injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, some Nepali Congress cadres have been injured when Maoist cadres attacked them in Mugu.
